waking up and looking at his phone he sees 4:17 and before what was in his head could leave he begins to type

then he goes into the kitchen and sees her name on this paper written by a teacher from this future of his life and remembers how he saw himself with all of these children around him as an old, really old man and would think that will never be me that's crazy but here and now he sees it happening. he thinks to himself i've got to tell her teacher and i've got to tell kirby...so he begins with kirby

I felt the sarcasm in you when you said *it brother...just because i'm tryin to lead this band doesn't mean i'm perfect. far from it as youuuu know. I love you man but i know you don't play "crooked cops" because through all the rage...your the light on this stage brother...in all of us...........you're the light in us all

he pours his coffee and goes and sits back down in the cockpit of this seemingly the largest cargo plane he can imagine - a russian antonov with a weight and balance that would scare the crap out of the most courageous of pilots...

takin off in a shitstorm of the most epic of all imagination

(whispering to himself)

I'm gonna go in and tell mr. matthew what i really thought that day

and i'm gonna send this message to melody and tell her how good it felt to see her window come down and just talk to me again...how thankful i am that she caught the rear hatch that came open on takeoff from that place of many woes...and how i remember that day i turned around and saw her standing with a rock that was bigger than i could ever carry...

and holding it then dropping it at our feet i knew

one day i'm gonna stand up for you and tell everyone

you also saved me

and you just might be the stongest woman in the world
